Location
Gili Trawangan is the largest of the 3 'Gilis', located off the North West coast of Lombok with beautiful breathtaking views of both Mount Rinjani on Lombok and Mount Agung on Bali.
International Flights
Many airlines including Singapore Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Malaysian Airlines, Thai Air and Cathy Pacific all fly to Bali from most European, Asian and Australian destinations.
Silk Air (a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines) flies directly into Mataram, Lombok.
Domestic Flights
There are daily flights from Jakarta, Surabaya, Jogjakarta and Bali. Flight time from Bali is only 25 minutes and there are currently three airlines operating this route.
IAT Air, Trans Nusa Air and Merpati Nusantara all have regular flights throughout the day.
Fast Boat to the Gilis
Gili Trawangan just got closer - aboard the 'Mahi Mahi', a new service operating every day between Bali and the Gili Islands. This purpose built boat has a journey time of 2 and a half hours from the beach at Serangan harbour (15 minutes from Kuta) direct to the beach on Gili Trawangan. Western operated, comfortable seating for 20 passengers, a galley service and toilet/shower facilities.
